How Does This Benefit You, Your Community, and CAPE?

 You:

  • Build your artistic or writing portfolio

  • Use your book as a passion project or college app booster

  • Get published without needing a traditional publisher

  • Know your work is actually being read and making an impact

 Your Community

  • Children in schools, libraries, and pediatric centers receive books that are inclusive, inspiring, and needed

  • Your story helps challenge harmful narratives in traditional literature

  • Each book becomes a tool for representation and empathy

 CAPE

  • Your creation fuels our mission and helps us grow

  • We get to share real student-made stories

  • Your voice strengthens our movement for compassionate, creative change

This isn’t just any project—it’s your passion, creativity, and voice turned into real-world impact.  When you create a book with CAPE, it becomes so much more than pages and pictures. It can be:

  • A powerful addition to your art or writing portfolio

  • A standout passion project for college applications or scholarships

  • Your first published book—without the stress of finding a publisher

And most importantly, your book won’t just sit on a shelf. Through CAPE, your story will be read by real children in schools, libraries, and pediatric hospitals. You’ll be creating stories that matter—books that challenge harmful norms, celebrate inclusion, and spark imagination.

Publishing a book alone can be difficult, especially when it’s hard to gain an audience. But with CAPE, you don’t just create a book—you create change. Every book you make helps us grow as a nonprofit, helps young readers feel seen, and brings meaningful narratives into the hands of those who need them most.

Your words have power. Your art has impact. And together, we’ll make sure they’re seen, heard, and loved.
